Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at home, Mary Martin, age 89 years. Wife of Aaron Martin. Mother of Velina Horst, Esther (Adam) Weber of Holyrood, Noah (Naomi) Martin, Orvie (Verna) Martin, Sarah (Aden) Bearinger of Listowel, Selema (Urias) Martin of Elmira, Ervin (Erma) Martin, Edgar (Mary) Martin of Linwood, Eva (Peter) Wideman of Wingham, Elvin (Alice) Martin of Clifford. Grandmother of 68 grandchildren and 92 great-grandchildren. Also survived by one brother Alvin (Almeda) Weber and one sister Esther Martin; sisters-in-law Almeda Martin, Laurene Martin, Nancy (Edwin) Bowman, Saleda (Henry) Kraemer, Verna (Leonard) Bauman and Ellen Martin; brothers-in-law Elmer (Mary) Martin and Lester Martin. Predeceased by parents Jacob and Rebecca Weber, parents-in-law Noah and Rebecca Martin, son Cleason in infancy, son-in-law Noah Horst, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren, sister Lovina Shantz, five brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law. Friends called at the home of Edgar Martin, 5565 Ament Line, RR 1, Linwood on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 1-5 p.m. and are welcome on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 5-8 p.m. A family service will be held at the home on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 9 a.m. then to Linwood Mennonite Meeting House for burial and further service.
