Monday, June 10th was the monthly meeting for the Bloomingdale Women’s Institute who are  celebrating their  70th year.   The roll call answered by members was “school yard games from days gone by”.  Many interesting and funny stories were told of the members present of their younger days.  The program was “Down Memory Lane” with their Tweedsmuir Histories which included Bridgeport and Woolwich.    Lorrie Snider spoke on the settling of Bloomingdale by her ancestor Yock (Jacob) & wife Mary Schneider.  Elaine McCutcheon spoke on the District meetings from Bridgeport and Bloomingdale and Diane Strickler gave an  overview of past meetings over the 70 years.
