It might get a little emotional.
For the 36 members of the Breslau Bloomingdale Maryhill Community Band, their upcoming concert on May 26 won’t just be a concert – it will be the last time they perform under long-time conductor Bryon Hagedorn, who has been leading them for 14 years.
To mark the occasion, they’ve taken an unusual approach. Instead of performing songs selected thematically by him, they’ve assembled a smorgasbord of favourite tunes that showcase some of the hidden talents of the group.
