It may seem confusing at first, but this play isn’t actually about Waterloo.

The latest Kitchener-Waterloo Little Theatre production to hit the stage, written by local playwright Zivy Hardy, seems at first to be named after the local Ontario city. In fact, it’s a coy allusion to the culminating battle of the Napoleonic Wars – a metaphorical reference to a moment of defeat for one of the main characters.
