Peacefully passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026 at WRHN – Chicopee at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Ruth Ann for 49 years. Dearly missed by his daughter Kathleen, her husband Paul Sherrer, and his grandsons Bart and Kaden. Loving brother of Garry (Lee), Bill (Rosie), Bob (Heather), and Brenda. Ron will be fondly remembered by in-laws Ron and Marilyn Underwood, Cathy and Max Trelford, Connie and Andrew Maksymyk, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Ruth Clement. Ron lived life in two speeds: stop and go. Whether he was on his motorcycle, behind the wheel of his pickup truck or 18-wheeler, and dressed in his signature black clothes, he never did anything halfway. He put his whole heart and soul into everything he tackled, giving every moment his absolute all. Visitation will take place on Friday, May 15, 2026 from 3-7 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A private family service will be held. As expressions of sympathy, donations to WRHN Foundation would be appreciated and may be made through the funeral home.
