Growth, gravel pits and artificial intelligence were top of mind for Woolwich’s mayoral hopefuls and Ward 3 candidates as they met at a town hall event October 8.
Evan Burgess and Eric Schwindt are vying to replace outgoing Mayor Sandy Shantz, while incumbent Bonnie Bryant, Jeff Carruthers, Janet Cox and Eryn Koncir are competing for Ward 3’s two seats.
The third mayoral candidate, Glenn Fern, did not make an appearance at the packed Bloomingdale Community Centre, where more than 70 residents listened in.
