Fair president Jim Zantinge said he’s feeling pretty positive in the run-up to the big weekend, but notes “it’s all going to come down to the weather.”
Zantinge recalled that last year offered up great conditions, and he’s hoping for the same this time around.
“Everything comes down to the weather. If we get rained out, we’re done.”
The Drayton Fair is set for Aug. 7-9 at the Drayton Fairgrounds, 49 Elm St. Above, scenes from last year’s event, with many of the activities such as the tractor pulls making a return this time around.
