Elmira’s Gavin McLean is getting a taste of that dream of playing pro ball, taking the mound for the Kitchener Panthers.
The team, which plays in the Canadian Baseball League (CBL), features a range of players, including former major leaguers, those from minor leagues, and from elite international rosters.
The Panthers were once part of the Intercounty Baseball League, which last year rebranded itself as the CBL, shifting from a semi-professional to a pro league.
