The Twin Centre Hericanes U15 rep B team brought home gold last month from the Meagan Byers Tournament in Mount Forest.
As the coach, Shawn Bonnick, noted, they really had to “dig” for it in the challenging competition.
“We went in as the highest seed ranked within the province, and the other three teams that we played in the round-robin, they came out for us,” he said.
