Learning to skate is like learning to ride a bike for Canadian kids given that hockey is our national obsession.

Tri-Edge Skating Club, which operates in Wellesley, Monkton and Milverton, has registrations open for kids to learn the ways of the ice.

The organization “consists of helping skaters learn to how to skate, of course, and also do figure skating out of three locations,” said head coach Trudy Field.

It’s an amalgamated club now after the three individual clubs came together last fall.
