This duck thinks it’s a puppy.
If you travel out to Pam Woodhouse’s farm in Ariss, you might encounter a rowdy duck named Buddy that has come to believe it’s a dog. This charismatic waterfowl has befriended a golden retriever named Lucy, and their pairing has led to delightful social media posts that feature them nuzzling and rough-housing.
“Buddy was a three-week-old duckling when we first got him. He was given to us from a friend in Burlington,” Woodhouse told The Observer, noting that the drake was ill-suited for an urban environment.
