Shakespeare’s classical tragedy of star-crossed lovers will be on stage this weekend at Elora Centre for the Arts.

Under the direction of veteran theatre artist Deb Stanson, Elora Community Theatre presents one of Shakespeare’s most popular plays, Romeo and Juliet. The play opens July 17.

It’s a first for the organization.
