With spooky season only a couple of months away, the time is right for interested Woolwich residents to start thinking about ReForest Woolwich’s fall tree giveaway.
“We’re calling it Trick or Trees. It’s going to be on Halloween,” said Braedon Witt, the organization’s operations manager.
Every year, ReForest Woolwich hosts free tree giveaways in the spring and fall as part of their effort to grow the community’s tree canopy. Residents can start ordering trees at the end of the first week of August. The event is first come, first served while supplies last. Community members can order up to 50 trees for their property.
