The Woolwich Memorial Centre is exploring options on how to offer skate-sharpening services, and began soliciting expressions of interest at the beginning of the month. They’ve already heard back from interested parties.
According to Thomas van der Hoff, deputy director of recreation, they haven’t had much luck so far.
“Council asked the recreation and community services department to explore options for facilitating skate sharpening services,” he told The Observer.
