Twenty-seven young players took to the rink last weekend as the Elmira and District Curling Club resumed its youth program.

The club has a 10-week learn-to-curl program, and the youth program for kids with a year of experience runs until April 2026.

“Curling is a little bit of a dying sport,” said youth coach Tyler Brown, noting they have kids between seven and 17 years of age, which they divide up by experience.
