This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Elmira & District Curling Club. To celebrate that milestone, the club will host a members-only bonspiel, dubbed the Platinum Pebbles Spiel, on November 14.
“It’s a day for people to meet other members or rekindle relationships with others,” said curler Pat Johnson.
With the club celebrating seven decades, this year marks Susan Martin’s 49th year with the curling crew.
