As a little girl growing up in Malawi, Aditi Jain always dreamed of becoming a fashion designer.
She hosted a fashion club with her neighbours, experimenting with elaborate outfits, and sparked within herself a passion that would lead her into the industry and follow her all over the globe – from Africa to New Delhi, into the States and finally to her new home in Elmira.
After completing her degree, Jain initially found work as a designer and illustrator with some of the most prestigious international companies in the business: De Beers, Hermes, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Marc Jacobs and Google, to name just a few. But as the years went on and she became a mother, her priorities began to shift. Though she’s still neck-deep in the industry, she’s now thrown herself into a new endeavour: 3D artwork.
