The U17 Elmira Heat softball squad started their season off with a win earlier this month.
They were the champions of the Wilmot Spring Showcase after they defeated Team Quebec by a score of 7-3 on June 7.
The team’s coach, Mike Brito, said he was feeling “pretty good” about the win.
