The Wellesley Applejacks closed out the regular season by winning two of their final three games to finish third in the PJHL’s South Doherty Division.

A gritty 3-2 shootout comeback against Norwich was followed by a heavy 7-2 loss to fourth-place New Hamburg, a game marred by disciplinary lapses.

Wellesley then capped the campaign with a relatively comfortable 3-2 win over the Dorchester Dolphins with a trial lineup featuring a number of young affiliated players.
