The Elmira District Secondary School football teams kicked off another season September 24, as both the junior and senior squads dominated their Grand River Collegiate Institute counterparts.
The junior team won 50-0, while the seniors posted a 46-0 victory.
It was a great way to start the season, said Alex Derma, coach of the juniors, noting the team hadn’t planned to run up the score.
