Passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of Hannah (Weber) Martin for 63 years. Loving father of Amsey (Verna), Urias (Nancy), Susannah, John (Laurene), Noah (Lovina), Aden (Eva), and Selina all of Elmira. Survived by 28 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, brother Henry (Mary), and sister Sarah (Ervin) Martin. Brother-in-law of Mary Martin, Ion (Saloma) Martin, Saloma Weber, Selema Martin, Amsey Martin, Urias (Betty) Weber, Amon (Mary) Weber, and Wesley (Esther) Weber. Predeceased by his parents Urias and Annie (Martin) Martin, one son in infancy, one great-grandson, brothers Noah (Edna) Martin, Israel (Nancy) Martin, David Martin, sisters Nancy (Amsey) Martin, Maryann Martin, brothers-in-law Henry Weber, Paul Martin, and sisters-in-law Lydia Martin, and Annie Martin. Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 1-4 and 5-8 p.m. and on Friday, June 5, 2026 from 12-5 p.m. at the home of Aden and Eva Martin, 2240 New Jerusalem Rd., Elmira. A family service will be held at the home on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 9 a.m. then to Springfield Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.
