After a tight competition, Morrigan Woolner claimed the title at the finals of the Wellesley Idol competition held in conjunction with the Apple Butter and Cheese Festival last weekend.
“I feel really, really grateful. I’m actually very, very excited,” she said.
Nora Parks was second, with Claire Sachs in third place.
Musician Allister Bradley, one of the judges, said the talent on display made it difficult to pick a winner.
