When St. Clair College’s women’s softball team captured its seventh Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) Women’s Softball Championship title last month, Conestogo’s Madison Phillips helped drive that success.
St. Clair College defeated Oshawa’s Durham College in a 6-5 walk-off win on October 24.
“It’s an unreal feeling. The team is amazing…there’s a huge bond throughout all the girls on the team,” said Phillips, who scored a run in the second inning.
