Woolwich Township staff took steps to fix two “leg-breaking” potholes near an Elmira horse shed after The Observer passed along public complaints.
The giant craters on the laneway near the Wyatt Street Parking Lot were “large enough to lose a child in,” one woman said, noting that they had been there since the start of the year.
Another concerned resident, Doug Trimble, pointed out that the site could be seen from the township offices on Church Street.
