Don’t wait to do the things you’ve always wanted to do.
That’s the message that Woolwich singer-songwriter Carla Muller wants to leave with her listeners, as she releases a pair of albums called Paper Stars and In Between. Inspired by real events and the deep familial love she has for her sisters, they’re a labour of love borne from grief and nostalgia.
“I had hundreds of songs in little pieces, and it was just time to put them together and get them recorded,” she told The Observer, adding that it took half a decade of working with Canterbury Music in Toronto to bring them fully to life.
