Farmers and producers affected by drought conditions in 2025 can now apply for financial support through the federal-provincial AgriStability program.
The federal and provincial governments have opened the 2025 AgriStability program to late participants, allowing producers who did not previously enroll to apply for support. Final applications must be submitted by September 30.
The move is intended to help farmers, including fruit and vegetable producers, recover from losses caused by extreme dry conditions experienced during the 2025 growing season.
