Home Hardware Furniture in St. Jacobs officially shut its doors earlier this year, as the corporation plans to retire such outlets across Canada.
It was a “strategic decision to exit the Home Furniture banner,” said corporation spokesperson Lauren Hourtovenko.
The St. Jacobs-based firm plans “to focus on our core home improvement business and better support our dealers and customers,” she said in an email.
