The Woolwich Community Lions will be selling mums again next month, the fourth year for a campaign in support of victims of wildfires.
Since the beginning, the group has raised funds related to wildfire assistance.
With the first campaign selling mums, the club helped the Lions Club in Maui, and then supported the Jasper wildfires. Last year, they expanded to cover wildfire assistance across the country.
“I think we’re pretty excited about it because at this point in time – this is our fourth year – people seem to be looking for this to happen,” said Val King, the club’s service chair.
