Wellesley’s Thomas Metzger will head to the world’s largest combined indoor agricultural fair in Toronto next month after his standout performance with the Waterloo 4-H dairy club.
This will be his second time heading to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.
“It was a lot of fun,” he recalled of his time last year, when he unfortunately didn’t make the cut for showmanship. But he placed 22nd out of 90 in conformation with his previous cow, Spruceafton Master Rosalyn.
