Two Wellesley sisters raised funds through crafts at the fall fair last Friday to support breast cancer research.
Nine-year-old Hannah and seven-year-old Kate Thaler will be participating in CIBC Run for the Cure on October 4 at Conestoga College’s Doon Campus.
This will be the third year the Thaler family will be walking and running the five-kilometre route.
But this will be the first year participating without their aunt, Catelin Howald, who passed away in April from uterine cancer at the age of 36.
