To the Editor,
Quite often, I walk from our home on Hampton Street to the grocery stores on Arthur Street. Last Saturday, we needed a few things, so off I went.
The journey was brutal. I felt sorry for anyone slightly less mobile who needed to make the same trip.
I thought our excessive tax rates included sidewalk cleaning? Isn't that what the township forced on all of us years ago as a necessary service?
This most recent storm started on Thursday afternoon and ended sometime after midnight Saturday. Has anyone seen a sidewalk cleaner yet?
What am I missing here?
