For Folklore Junction’s debut album, Jason Hein finally finished songs that had been kicking around for ages

A local country-folk-rock band with members from Elmira, Elora, New Hamburg and Kitchener recently released a debut album.

Folklore Junction, with Elora’s Jason Hein and New Hamburg’s Barb Grant leading the pack, released Not This Time in September.

Hein, who had already written a number of songs 30 years ago, and the band started recording the album a year ago.
