St. Jacobs artist Tim Schmalz donated his latest sculpture to Wellesley Township to celebrate the memory of his father.
The statue dubbed Lady of Shallot’ is named after Alfred, Lord Tennyson’s 1833 poem.
Schmalz asked the council to donate it back in February, and the sculpture was finally placed last month by the pond in Wellesley village’s Albert Erb park.
