With the golden glow of nature’s final blaze, fall is the season Rob Albrecht enjoys most at John’s Nursery, the St. Jacobs-area gardening business his father established 57 years ago.
“You see that rain we’ve just had, it makes it the perfect time for planting trees, shrubs, evergreens and perennials,” he said.
“It’s also just a nice time of the year to be outside collecting seeds and doing other things to prepare for what can grow next year.”
