Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at WRHN – Queens at the age of 71 years. Beloved wife of the late Ed Burrows (September 23, 2023). Loving mother of Michelle and Derek Villemaire, and Rob and Corby Burrows. Will be missed by her granddaughter Alexandra and great-grandson Myles. Sister of Bill Day and Mary Ellen and Chip Sherrer, and sister-in-law of Judy and Bill Lackner, and Linda Schinkel. Marg will be always remembered by her nieces, nephews, and friends. Marg was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 469, Elmira. Ed and Marg owned and operated Burrows Signs in Elmira and she was a longtime employee of Glenoit. Predeceased by her parents Carl and Teresa Day, and brother Dennis. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 1-4 p.m. A celebration of life will take place at the Elmira Legion, 11 First St. E., Elmira on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 1-4 p.m. Donations to WRHN – Cardiac Care, or to the Lung Association would be appreciated and may be made through the
funeral home.
