Have you ever thought about what might go on behind the scenes while watching a 1980s farce?

Michael Frayn’s Noises Off tells all in a comedically disastrous play-within-a-play. The missed cues, slammed doors and backstage chaos take centre-stage at the Fergus Grand Theatre next month in a presentation by the Elora Community Theatre.

Noises Off is a British farce about a theatre troupe that is coming together the night before their show goes on stage for a dress rehearsal.

The cast of Noises Off includes John Dibben, Colin Crawford, Alexandra Porter, David Camarena-Smith, Anna Maste, John Settle, Cody Miller and Erica Boneschansker. Absent: Laura Hunter. They’ll take the stage Feb. 6-15 at the Fergus Grand Theatre. [Andrea Eymann]
