Wellesley’s Mary Lichty-Neeb won the Len and Ida Patterson Memorial Award for her volunteer work as a secretary-treasurer for the Wellesley NEH Agricultural Society.
“It’s really heartwarming,” Lichty-Neeb said of the honour.
“When you volunteer and do things for your community, you never think of those types of things,” she added of the award from the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies.
