The Grand Harmony Chorus will have its open house next week for people to learn more about this singing group that has been around for three decades.
The event set for September 16 aims to recruit more singers to complement their four-part a cappella performances in the barbershop style.
“We’re just looking for singers that sing in the shower, in the car. We’re looking for people that are just going off to college, university, empty nesters, people that are just looking for a hobby,” said the group’s Jane Stoltz, noting participation is open to all women 18 years of age and older.
