The Wellesley Applejacks rallied from behind and twice took the lead in a thrilling 6-4 win over the Dorchester Dolphins that kept the side in the title hunt.
Saturday’s victory on the road was the only match of the weekend after Sunday’s home-ice showdown against the Norwich Merchants was postponed due to bad weather.
The Dorchester decision closed the gap to two points with the Woodstock Navy Vets (23-7-4) at the top of the PJHL South Doherty Division, although the leaders have a game in hand.
