Left peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, to sit at Jesus’ feet, on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at the age of 76. Beloved mother to Trevor (Barbara) and Derek (Laura). Adoring grandma to Tayler, Carter, and Aubrey. Will be dearly missed by siblings Paul Schmor, Vivian Beilstein and Sharon Harder. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents John and Mary Schmor, brother-in-law Kent Harder, and sister-in-law Irene Schmor. Irene was a devoted Christian, never afraid to tell someone about God’s love. She had the biggest heart and was always helping or giving to family, friends and strangers. She has now continued on to her next great adventure. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025 at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira with reception to follow. Interment of ashes will take place in Elmira Union Cemetery. Donations to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated, and may be made through the funeral home.
