Having dropped the first of four preseason games, the Elmira Sugar Kings bounced back to take two out of three, wrapping up Sunday. This week, with the roster just about set, they’ll be practicing for when things get real, starting Friday night in Listowel.
In the second game of the preseason September 3 in Waterloo, the Kings built on a five-goal first period to defeat the Siskins 10-3.
The visitors in fact ran up the score to 4-0 before the Siskins were able to reply.
