Facing a pair of Eastern Conference teams, the Elmira Sugar Kings settled for a split over the weekend.
They dropped a 4-2 decision in Brantford Saturday afternoon, but bounced back the following day at home to beat the Hamilton Kilty B’s 5-4 in overtime.
The Kings (19-3-1) are in second place in the GOHL’s Western Conference, four points back of Chatham, but with three games in hand.
