Now is not a good time to renew your monthly bus pass.
If negotiations between the Region of Waterloo and Unifor Local 4304 don’t go smoothly in the coming days, there may be a bus strike that interrupts service as early as May 1.
That will be bad news for monthly pass holders, whose passes are set to auto-renew on April 25. That’s why the region is warning them to cancel that feature on their account, so they don’t get dinged for a service that won’t exist.
