Passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Home in Waterloo. She was born in Hoiping Kwangtong Province, China, 98 years ago; daughter of the late Sung Sic Kwan and Chiu Ti Huang. King Siu was a longtime resident of Elmira and a retired owner of the former Tien Lee Restaurant. She was an accomplished seamstress and an excellent cook. Lovingly remembered by her children Kim and Mark Leung, Chris and Chi Lee, Ann Lee, Margaret Kwan, Alex and Barb Lee, and son-in-law Stephen Chong. Her happiest moments were spent with her family, including her grandchildren Theresa (Jim) Gerth, Cecilia (Hektor) Hum, Gregory (Joanna) Chong, Stephanie Chong; David Leung, Daniel (Nikki) Leung; James (Jennifer) Lee, Jennifer (Matthew) Guilherme; Jason Kwan, Grace Kwan, Derek (Sally) Kwan; Megan (Tim) Schott, Michelle (Mike) Voisin, and her 16 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Do Jan Lee (1999), daughter Betty Chong, son-in-law Michael Kwan, and grandson Michael Lee. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 5-8 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A private family service and interment will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto.
