Passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the age of 91 years. Predeceased by her husband Nelson. Dear mother of Richard (Toni), the late Gary (Deb), Michael, Marilyn (Dave) Weber, and Denise Martin. Also lovingly remembered by 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Sister of Rebecca Cressman, Marie (Ernie) Fretz, Marlene (Murray) Baker, and sister-in-law of Ken Baker, Mary Metzger, Doris Metzger, Helen Metzger, and Ann Martin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Vernon, Stan, Johnny, Emmanuel, Ernie, and sister Erma. Vera will be remembered for her love of gardening, and her wonderful pies. Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A funeral service will be held at St. Jacobs Mennonite Church, 1310 King St. N., St. Jacobs on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Jacobs Mennonite Cemetery.
