Joan have been invited because of the successful New Horizon’s program in Maryhill to be on a Seniors Advisory Committee. This committee is in its early stages and has various groups consisting of men and women from the Township. The council is interested in anything affecting seniors – housing, transportation etc.

This month ‘s guest speaker was Alan Card. He is the director of facilities for the Drayton Festival Theatre. His topic was “There’s No Business Like Show Business.” He gave a very informative and entertaining talk beginning with the purchasing of the Drayton venue and their other locations, Huron County, Kings Wharf, St. Jacobs Playhouse & Schoolhouse up to the Dunfield Theatre in Cambridge.

He also took time to answer questions.
