A lot of people think that when Sir Walter Scott wrote, “Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive,” he was talking about the how a single dishonest statement or act can cause an avalanche of serious complications. But I’m pretty sure that modern-day politics has dispelled tha
