There were around 75 paddlers on the Grand River in the 11th annual Two Row on the Grand, with some Woolwich locals taking part.
This event is a symbolic enactment of the original Two Row Wampum treaty, put in place more than 400 years ago, which helps people to embody the treaty, paddling down the Grand River from Cambridge to Port Maitland.
Elmira’s Geoff Martin, and his son Robin Martin, along with Robin Ralston and her daughter, Lena Zinger, were out for the last five days of the 10-day expedition.
The four of them started their trip at the halfway point at Chiefswood Park in the Six Nations.
