Quake hits close to home

When the devastating quake and tsunami struck Japan on the afternoon of Mar. 11, it was nearly 2 a.m. local time Thursday night, and Elmira-resident Kenji Orita happened to be sitting in the basement of his Aspen Street home, watching the Japanese news via satellite. He said the news station reporte
