Scratch cards labelled scams by authorities were delivered by Canada Post to families in Conestogo, angering residents.

The tickets, claiming prizes from a PlayStation 5 game console to an all-inclusive Cuba trip, allegedly lured recipients into high-pressure sales for water filtration systems.

Sara Daniel was among those who received one of the “Winter Wishes Sweepstakes” cards in the mail, and only noticed what it was when her ten-year-old son found it.
